The Original Brazilian Blowout Treatments
Keratin Straightening is a hair smoothing treatment that is uses a specifically formulated with hydrolyzed keratin-based solutions to restructure, fortify, and restore the hair’s natural brilliance — while reducing curl, wave, and frizz by 60% to 90%. The hair retains some of its body and movement, while styling time and effort is greatly reduced. The hair feels smoother, softer, shinier, and stronger than ever before! Keratin works on both the cuticle and sub-cuticle layers of the hair for maximum effect.
The Brazilian Blowout / Keratin Treatment Process
- The hair is deep cleanses to remove all build-up, dirt oil etc. with a gently sulfate free deep cleansing shampoo
- Next the Keratin solution is applied to the hair and the hair absorbs it.
- The hair is then blow-dried with a hand-held dyer.
- Then a ceramic temperature controlled flat iron is used to seal the Keratin solution deep into the hairs’ cuticle and sub-cuticle layers of the hair.
This technique allows the Keratin Solution to fortify and temporarily relax the hair at a structural level, greatly reducing the hairs’ natural curl, wave and frizz. The keratin solution encapsulates the hair’s outer cuticle layer, thereby protecting it from frizz-causing humidity and reinforcing the smoothing action from the flat iron.
The result is strong, soft, shiny, smooth, hair that feels healthier than ever.
As the Keratin gradually fades, your hair will regain its natural texture until it’s time for your next treatment, which is usually in 3 to 6 months.
The Brazilian Blowout treatment is a professional conditioning treatment that creates a protective protein layer around the hair shaft. The result is shiny, effortlessly manageable hair with plenty of body and bounce. You still have the option to wear your hair curly or wavy.
